About Me

Scott Fisher grew up in locally in Federal Way, and now works out of our Gig Harbor branch. He loves snowboarding and skiing, working out, boating, kayaking, hiking, pickleball and swimming! He’s also a professor for a college business school and still owns his first car he got when he was 16: a Datsun 240z.

A few years ago, a former co-worker came to work at Fairway and brought Scott on board. He really loves helping people get into the American Dream: their own home. 

Although Scott works with all types of homebuyers, there’s one story that stands out to him about he does what he does:

“6 years ago, I had a couple that had bad credit and a bunch of financials to get in order. I worked with them for a year to get their credit fixed so they could get approved. They finally purchased their new home in March of 2015. In mid-April I received a call from the wife of the couple. When I answered the phone, she was crying. She had just said goodbye to her husband two days prior. Right after they moved into their new home he started getting terrible headaches. He went to the doctor and was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. He died two weeks later. She wanted me to know and wanted to thank me for all we had done over the last year to get them into their dream home. She said how happy and proud he was for the three weeks he lived in the home before going to the hospital.

When we said goodbye, I shared the story with my Processor- and yes, we had a bawl session, but it reminded both of us of why we do what we do.”
